Frameless Shower Enclosure Configurations

Our Frameless Enclosures are Designed And Fabricated To Accommodate Any Configuration.

More people are investing in their bathroom, in either new construction or renovation.  The bathroom design has become an important focus point of any home, with the frameless enclosure being the “crown jewel”.  Starting your project with an experienced glass company is an important component.  Below you will find common configuration categories.  Due to the custom nature of the frameless enclosure, no two may be exactly the same.  The below information has been provided to help you decide which enclosure configuration may suit your space best, as well as help you describe the type of enclosure you have when requesting pricing.

Inline Frameless Shower Enclosures

The inline frameless enclosure features (1) or more panels that are all “inline” with one another- such as shown in the picture here.  The door may be hinged off of a wall, off of a fixed panel or using a pivot hinge (depending on your particular configuration requirements). The inline enclosure is able to accommodate both large and small shower spaces nicely- but its always important to remember to keep any water from pointing directly at the door.

90 Degree Enclosures

Just as the name suggests, the 90 degree enclosure features (1) or more corners of glass that meet at a 90 degree angle.  These enclosures are designed as a headerless design (when not being styled as a steam unit), and make use of a 90 degree through the glass corner clamp. Most common in larger showers, but are fit in smaller showers as well.  Due to the extensive glass fabrication required to house the fittings required in this type of enclosure, and the additional fittings needed as well- the 90 degree enclosure is often a higher cost investment.

Neo Angle Enclosures

The neo angle shower enclosure consists of one or more panels of glass meeting at a 135 degree corner.  This shower door configuration is often the most complex and requires additional glass processing (glass mitring) to allow glass panels to meet at 135 degrees.  As a result, this type of configuration is often the most costly  The frameless neo angle enclosure is typically best suited for larger showers, as often with smaller neo angle showers, the shower head is pointed closely towards the door.
